Security Testing Services
We test your web applications, mobile apps and APIs for security weaknesses and give your developers clear, prioritised steps to fix them, before attackers find them first.
Most security incidents in web and mobile applications come from a familiar list of weaknesses: broken access control, injection, weak authentication, exposed data and misconfigured servers. Finding them before release costs far less than dealing with a breach afterwards.
INNOVISCENT provides security testing services in India, including vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT), for web applications, mobile apps and APIs. We combine automated scanning with manual testing based on the OWASP Top 10, so we find both the obvious issues and the logic flaws that tools miss.
We write reports for the people who have to fix the problems. Every finding comes with its risk level, the steps to reproduce it and a practical fix. When fixes are in, we retest, and we can add automated security checks to your CI/CD pipeline so new issues are caught early.
Security testing is a natural extension of our QA automation and DevOps work. We already know how to test applications in depth and how to plug checks into release pipelines, and we apply the same discipline to security, so it becomes a routine part of every release instead of a one-off exercise before launch.

- Tools: OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, Postman, Dependency scanning, CI/CD security scans
- Industries: Fintech, Healthcare, E-commerce
Problems We Solve
Unknown exposure
You don't know where your applications are vulnerable. A structured assessment gives you a clear, risk-ranked picture.
Security left until launch
Testing happens right before go-live, when fixes are expensive. We help you test earlier and continuously.
Reports developers can't use
Long scanner output with no context. Our findings explain the risk, how to reproduce it and how to fix it.
Our Process
- 1
Scope
We agree the applications, APIs, environments and rules of engagement, and sign an NDA before testing starts.
- 2
Test
We run automated scans and manual tests against the OWASP Top 10 and your business logic, including authentication and access control.
- 3
Report
You get a clear report with prioritised findings, evidence and recommended fixes, plus a walkthrough with your team.
- 4
Retest & automate
We verify the fixes and can add automated security scans to your CI/CD pipeline.
Tools & Technologies
We use OWASP ZAP and Burp Suite for web and API testing, Postman for API test collections, and mobile tooling to inspect how apps store and send data. Automated dependency and code scans run in CI, while manual testing covers the business logic and access control issues that scanners can't find.

Industries We Serve
Fintech
Payment flows and account data that attackers actively target.
Healthcare
Sensitive personal and health data that must be protected.
E-commerce
Customer accounts, checkout and payment integrations.
SaaS products
Multi-tenant platforms where one weakness can expose many customers.
How an engagement works
Example engagement: pre-launch security test of a web app and API
An outline of how we typically run this kind of project. Client details are withheld.
The challenge
A typical case: a team is about to launch a customer portal with a public API and wants to know it is safe before real users and data arrive.
Our approach
We scope the portal and API, run automated scans, then manually test login, password reset, role-based access and API authorisation, checking whether one user can see or change another user's data.
The result
The team receives a ranked list of findings with fixes, resolves the high-risk items before launch, and we retest to confirm. Automated scans then run on every release.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do you test during a security assessment?
We test the web applications, mobile apps and APIs agreed in the scope. That includes authentication, session handling, access control, input validation, data exposure, configuration and third-party components. We follow the OWASP Top 10 and OWASP testing guides, and we also look at your specific business logic, such as whether a user can access another customer's data.
What is the difference between a vulnerability scan and a penetration test?
A vulnerability scan uses automated tools to find known issues quickly. A penetration test adds manual work by a tester who tries to exploit weaknesses and chain them together, the way a real attacker would. We usually combine both: scans for breadth, manual testing for depth and business logic flaws.
Will testing affect our live systems?
We prefer to test in a staging environment that mirrors production. If we need to test production, we agree the time windows, rate limits and any areas to avoid beforehand, and we never run destructive tests without your written approval. You stay informed throughout the engagement.
Can security testing run continuously?
Yes. After the first assessment we can add automated security checks to your CI/CD pipeline, including dependency scanning and dynamic scans against a test environment, alongside your functional tests. Periodic manual testing then covers the areas automation can't reach, such as new features and business logic.
How often should we run security testing?
We recommend a full assessment before a major launch and at least once a year after that, plus a focused test whenever you add significant features such as payments, new user roles or public APIs. Between assessments, automated scans in your CI/CD pipeline catch common issues on every release.
